Depression will tell you to isolate yourself.
It will whisper in your ear to cut everyone off.
To burn every single bridge.
Don’t do that.
That’s how you die.
Since the beginning of time, human beings have survived by staying together.
Because nobody survives completely alone.

This is especially true if you have an ugly collection of abusive and hateful people you have met in your past. Is very hard to have hope for the future when you are in deep depression because everything turns black and white.
"10 people hurt me in the past = Every single person I will ever meet will hurt me, so I better end my life now to prevent more pain."
The more you think that way and you isolate yourself, the more you spiral.
Breaking this loop might be the hardest thing to do.
